    I do not like Penzance. It has a taste like licorice to me. I didn’t enjoy my tin very much. Mine had been aged for a year as well. He explained it well. It tastes like tar.

    @hippymilk Thats how it’s supposed to be, it maybe a bit on the dry side if it’s an old tin.

    Hey there, I recently just opened up a jar of aged penzance myself and was really bummed that there was white dusty mold all over it. It seems like this is normal if yours had it too? Is it still safe to smoke? I really don’t want to throw out 8oz of 1year aged Penzance… that would be to discard a bit of heaven…

    hey mate, could you help me with this problem… I recently got a Lorenzo Churchwarden and I get a lot of water collected at the heel while smoking… so i have to take out the stem and shake the water out every 5 mins, its real annoying.

    Do you know why this would be happening and how to fix it? Is there a term for this occurrence? Thanks very much

  7. dubinthedam says:

    @bidermaier Solani Virginia Flake

  8. bidermaier says:

    What is the virginia flake he shows up at the end of the video? I cant quite understand what he says.

  9. dubinthedam says:

    @GojuBob I live in Amsterdam, mainly you have to get it from a US online company like 4noggins, cupojoes or smokingpipes

  10. GojuBob says:

    I come from Penzance, and – believe it or not – you can’t get ‘Penzance’ there, or anywhere in England! I’ve always wanted to try it. Are you speaking from Ireland? Can you get Esoterica tobaccos there?

  11. dubinthedam says:

    @Sniper1968 Erinmore great, tastes like rich fruit cake, tastes way better than it sounds, good strength too.

  12. Sniper1968 says:

    @dubinthedam I did buy some Erinmore Flake last night, but have not smoked it yet. It has a sweet fruity smell to it. I’ll look into McConnell’s Red Virginia (strawberry) as well.

  13. dubinthedam says:

    @Sniper1968 It’ very heavy on the cherry flavor, try McConnell’s Red Virginia (strawberry) it’s much nicer, Peterson’s University Flake also has a berry flavor and is a top quality flake.

    Great video, and very informative. Trying to find that Stanwell’s Kir and Apple. I’m here in the states, and have not had luck as of yet.
